| Northwest Gamebirds participates in the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP). Our NPIP number is 91-81. The NPIP program is operated by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and offers standardized testing and facility inspection guidelines for our industry.

We practice strict bio-security. No one is permitted to enter our facilities without authorization. Birds are raised indoors with no outside avian contact. Facilities and equipment are routinely disinfected.
Our employees are highly trained in all aspects of animal husbandry and we attend educational seminars and classes to keep current on all aspects of our industry. Northwest Gamebirds practices pro-active animal husbandry and works hand-in-hand with our WSDA veterinarian to ensure our birds are protected to the fullest extent possible. As part of our ongoing quality assurance program our facility is inspected by a Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) certified animal health veterinarian and samples of our products are tested by the Washington State University Avian Health Laboratory’s Disease Diagnostic Laboratory.
